White Water Rafting is an amusement activity where people can sail on the river. This is commonly done on different degrees of rough waters at which point one can experience the thrill, excitement and challenges of rapids.

In mid 80's and mid 90's by using inflated interior tire tubes, raft made of bamboo and banana trunks, this activity became the habit of some Cagayanon's and finally, some people had developed this adventure through the efforts of White Water Rafting in Cagayan de Oro and has become the most popular adventure activity throughout the country.

Cagayan de Oro White Water Rafting allows group of people to view good scenery of the river in different directions. Before the adventure, people gather first at the starting location which is Barangay Dansolihon, which is almost 20 kilometers from the city proper. Starting from this point, adventurers will pass one of the oldest Cathedral Church, the SEARSOLIN/MANRESSA an agricultural area developed by the students, the cleanest and safeties Lumbia Airport, and the well known Macahambus Cave which was use by Filipino Soldier during World Ward II. A super ambience should be experience and a fresh and clean water and fresh air can be expected from starting point up to the finish.
